Hello, Treehouse Families!
Below, you will find some FSA updates for the upcoming month. If you have any questions, feel free to email your student's advisory teacher. 1. There will not be a Reading FSA practice packet sent home the week of March 13th. These will resume the week of March 27th. 2. Below are the dates of the upcoming assessments:
3. In our testing season, we love to provide our students with a snack before we test. Please sign up HERE to volunteer to bring in snacks. You may drop off snacks with your student's advisory teacher. Dear Treehouse families,
Please check out our new video preview for what’s up next in writing : Fiction! We are looking forward to seeing our students' creativity in this unit. Feel free to email your writing teacher with any questions you may have. Dear Treehouse Families,
Last week, we sent home a letter about the Family Picnic coming up this Friday, March 17th, at 11am. On the bottom of the letter, you can mark whether or not you will be joining your child, and whether you will be checking them out with you (or having them stay at school) after the picnic. You are also welcome to email your advisory teacher to let her know your plans for Friday. In the email, please let us know the following:
Remember to sign up for your ID badge in advance on SIGN-UP GENIUS so that you don’t have to wait in line on the big day. The students and teachers will meet you at our normal dismissal spot on the front circle at 11am. Please plan to arrive early, so that you have enough time to park, find your picnic spot, and pick up your child by 11am. Any child who has not been picked up by 12:10pm will join the 4-5 teacher picnic spot by the big oak tree at the anchor. If you are late, you can find your child with us at this spot. If you have any further questions, feel free to email your student's advisory teacher! Thank you, The Treehouse Team In preparation for the Family Picnic, we have put together a sign up genius to help parents get checked in before they arrive. We are hoping that this will help to eliminate crowds in the front office. The procedure will be to have families sign up using the link below, write the full names of all guests attending (they do not need to put their child’s name). Then on the day of the picnic, they will need to pick their name tag up from the front desk.
Thank you! www.SignUpGenius.com/go/5080D45ADAE22AA8-family Treehouse Families, please see the note below from our attendance office regarding sibling check-out for the day of the picnic :
If you have a middle school or high school sibling who attends P.K. and will be joining you for the picnic, please CONTACT THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE PRIOR TO THE PICNIC (a few days) and let Mrs. Flinchum know the student’s name, grade, and that they will need to be checked out for the picnic. The preferred method for contacting Mrs. Flinchum is via email ([email protected]) You can also call the attendance office at 352-392-1554, ext. 234. Middle and high school students who have “officially” been checked out for the picnic will be released at 11:00 to attend. If your secondary student will be returning to school after the picnic, please officially check them back in at the attendance office. Hello, Treehouse Families!
Several Treehouse students have been bringing homemade stressballs to school that are filled with powder, water, or other substances. Unfortunately, these stressballs have become quite a distraction to learning, and several have popped and made messes in our Treehouse Community. Therefore, we have instructed students to not bring them to school. If a student brings these items (in addition to other non-school related accessories) to school, they will be held by the Treehouse Team and parents will be contacted. Thank you so much for your support! Best, The Treehouse Team |
